Controlling Garden Pests.
- When you see 2 Harlequin Beatles cosying up like this it means trouble. I try to catch them in early spring before they can take a hold.
- I have a number of weapons in my pest control armoury including exclusion (netting and copper tape), biological ( Bacillus Thuringiensis) and asphyxiation (organic horticultural oil), but if you can restore the natural balance of nature in your garden, it will do the job for you.
- The
links below take you to my database describing most of the pests visiting my garden. Each page includes a common name and a description. It explains how the pest expresses itself and lists appropriate control measures available to the organic gardener.
- Links in alphabetic order.
